Research trip to Latvia!

4 INCAT researchers went to the RRB23 Conference.

Last week, 4 PhD students traveled to Riga, Latvia to put INCAT on the map. They participated in the 19th edition of the Renewable Resources and Biorefineries Conference where Tibo and Tom gave an oral presentation. Tibo presented on 'Enhancing the performance of palladium based nanoparticle catalysts in the mild reductive depolymerization of soda lignin through addition of a secondary metal and tuning the preparation strategy'. Tom talked about 'Impact of the impregnation method of oxophilic La or Ce promoted NiCu-Al2O3 on the low-temperature HDO of anisole'.
Boyana and Lucas presented their research via a poster, respectively about 'Effects of support and Cu as secondary metal on the performance of Pd catalysts in the mild reductive depolymerization of soda lignin' and 'Soda lean black liquor as a renewable resource of low molecular weight bio-aromatics'.
