The Industrial Catalysis and Adsorption Technology (INCAT) research group at Universiteit Gent is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to develop advanced separation and purification processes for bio-aromatics derived from lignin.
As part of a major international 🌍 research initiative, your tasks will include:
📌 Identifying key components in a lignin depolymerization reactor effluent
📌 Investigating their thermodynamic behavior through simulations and experimental validation
📌 Designing a process to produce bio-aromatic streams tailored to end-user specifications
✅ Do you hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field, with experience in thermodynamics of complex mixtures?
✅ Interested in joining a dynamic team with strong expertise in biomass valorization at one of Europe’s leading universities?
