Our fossil-based society is in need for renewable alternatives 🍀. Olefins play a major role in this transition and in our latest research, Loïc Eloi evaluated the dehydration of 1,3-butanediol to 1,3-butadiene by using a hybrid material with two well-defined phases: H-ZSM-5 and CeO2.
