📢 Kevin Hendrickx joins INCAT as educational supervisor! 📢

Kevin Hendrickx studied chemistry at Ghent University and the Université de Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI-Sorbonne). After obtaining his Master of Science in Chemistry (Materials and Nano chemistry) he obtained his PhD in Chemistry in 2018 🎓 entitled “Understanding photocatalytic activity of MOFs : a combined experimental and theoretical study” under the supervision of Prof. V. Van Speybroeck and Prof. P. Van Der Voort. His expertise is in materials chemistry, (photo-)catalysis, spectroscopy, and computational chemistry. After a short postdoctoral stay at Ghent University, he moved to Antwerp where he lectured physical chemistry at AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

Recently, he joined the INCAT research group as educational supervisor where he will supervise, teach and innovate lab courses within the Industrial-Chemical learning trajectory in the training of Chemical Engineering Technology students. Next to his teaching work, Kevin is a musician and is amongst others chief conductor of 🎵 Continuo 🎵, the Alumni and Staff orchestra from Ghent University.
