Another young graduate joins the INCAT research group! As from February, Piet will strengthen the team as an assistant. He will work on the DELICARE project, short for DEpolymerisation of hydrolysis LIgnin for Conversion to Acrylic REsins, a collaboration with partners Catalisti and ViTO. The scientific objective is to maximize the potential of hydrolysis lignin (HL) as a sustainable source of reactive bio-aromatic compounds, via catalytic depolymerization towards applications in acrylic resins. Piet's goal lies within catalyst design, optimized for continuous depolymerization of the hydrolysis lignins. Good luck!
