PhD defense of Arno de Reviere!

Arno de Reviere defended his PhD thesis.

Deze week heeft Arno de Reviere met succes zijn publieke doctoraatsverdediging afgelegd na 6 jaar volop onderzoek uit te voeren op het “ontrafelen van effecten van zeolieteigenschappen en voedingscomplexiteit op de omzetting van bio-alcoholen naar olefines”. Vanaf nu mag Arno zich officieel doctor in de Industriële Wetenschappen Chemie 🎓 noemen. We nemen echter nog geen afscheid van Arno, aangezien hij komend semester nog volop onze studenten zal inspireren tijdens de practica binnen de opleiding 👨‍🏫 en verder onderzoek verrichten 👨‍🔬!

This week, Arno de Reviere successfully did his doctoral defense after 6 years of intense research on the topic “unraveling effects of zeolite properties and feed complexity on the conversion of bio-alcohols towards olefins”. From now on, Arno may use the title of PhD in Chemical Engineering Technology 🎓. We are not saying goodbye to Arno just yet, as he will continue next semester to inspire our students during the laboratory sessions within the education program 👨‍🏫 and conduct further research 👨‍🔬!
